Christmas Poinsettia Plant & Gift Show

A unique type of show unlike the other markets featured here, join in for a three-day kick-off of poinsettia season at Gainan's Heights Flowers Garden & Patio location! Their collection of poinsettias this season is filled with 23 beautiful varieties, with the opportunity to vote for your favorite and be entered into a random drawing to take place on the 18th of December -- and 23 lucky customers will win their top picks of poinsettias!
They will also have their plants decked out for the holidays. Fresh-cut evergreens and beautiful Christmas indoor gardens will be on full display (and available for purchase). And, that's before you've seen this year's incredible array of handcrafted wooden, fiber, and fabric offerings. If you're early enough, there might still be a troll or two to buy. Christmas décor and a room full of framed art are still to be visited. Take in the unbelievable donations in this year's silent auction. Bidding will be open through Sunday morning, November 13. And, be sure to buy plenty of tickets for your favorite raffle item. Coffee and treats will also be available on Friday.

The event is a great way to kick off the holiday season. It takes place the Friday after Thanksgiving every year and is fun for all ages. Singing and dancing fill the air all night. The smells of food and hot cider or hot chocolate are around every corner as vendors sell their goodies. Santa is available for pictures and the kids can make cookies with Mrs. Claus. The details will become more clear as to the places and times for these events as the day gets closer. Please check back often. Businesses are eager to welcome customers into their stores to warm up.
As the night winds down uptown we then get ready for the beautiful Parade of Lights. Entrants each year light up and head down Central Avenue. This is a sight to be seen with all of the great floats. Santa rides on the Chamber float at the end of the parade he heads back to the North Pole to get ready for Christmas.
You can enter a float in the parade by clicking on "Parade of Lights" and submitting the form to the Chamber or by calling 406-433-1916. Please indicate if you will be playing music or passing out candy.
